| Scriptural Thought for this Day What shall you do? After the time of the ascension of Jesus, the disciples were confused and afraid. There was much unrest in the church community and their Lord and Master had just been crucified and had left them. They went into a private place and God filled them with the Holy Ghost, with the evidence of speaking in an unknown tongue. The others around questioned it and begin to ridicule them. After a bit of preaching by the Apostle Peter, they asked of him, what do I have to do to be saved, Peter stood up and said, "...Repent and be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of your sins and you shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost (Acts 1 - 2). And that day, 3000 souls were saved. This experience is for you too...what shall you do? |
